Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Hi All, welcome to 2019 and all the best with whatever it may bring your way.

Considering new Wheels for the new year, wife fancies an SUV. She likes shape of CX-5 & Tucson but my preference is an MY19 Tiguan Highline with S&V pack, sunroof not necessary.

We are looking to deal on one of these this month and hopeful of just under $50K for the Highline in either white or blue to tempt her across.

    Any chance or wishful thinking?

Welcome, and best of luck getting the Tiguan over the line

      Welcome aboard!

Have a look at the “How much did you pay for your Tiguan” thread to see what kinds of deals people are getting over the line.

I’m not sure how you are financing the car, however if you’re just looking at comparing repayments then the 1.99% finance offer is pretty attractive. It should keep your repayments down and/or get you into a better car for similar $/month.

There’s nothing wrong with a CX-5 but just nothing too much to get excited about either.

Thanks Guys, looking like the Mazda now. A few unexpected costs have come up while getting ready for a tree change move and the purse has been tightened.

        Cheers
