Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • VIC Hi all, new owner of Tiguan R-Line

Just ordered new Tiguan R-Line in white with black wheels, it should arrive by the end of January. I didn’t get get sunroof (wife hates it) and I didn’t get that visual pack (I hate that virtual dash or what ever it’s called). It will be our family mover so wife will be driving it more than me but it’s still gonna be my baby, my other car is Megane RS 265/310 so now I’ll have something a little bit more civil to drive as well 😂, as you can see I love sports cars so I do plan on taking over Tiguan and do some mods but that will have to wait for few years I recon, until than only cosmetic things are allowed haha

Congrats! I know which one I’d prefer to drive though. My last new car was a 2006 RS 225 Cup.

For having fun it’s hard to beat RS especially with stage1 tune and 206KW@wheels😁, plus I love my manual. But I can see myself getting that Tiguan to be a lot more fun, Gordie from Etuners Motorsport tuned my RS so I’ll end up getting him to do same with Tiguan 😜

Nice! I’d love to get my GTI tuned but life’s priorities always seem to get in the way.
