Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • VIC looking to buy a VW

had a Honda before but now looking at VW as people around us are recommending this brand all the time, now have to find the model that suits our lifestyle. The other car we had was a 2016 Land Rover , what they call Land Rover Experience to us was the car gets to be towed back to the dealer all the time

Well it certainly was a experience just not the one you were after i assume!

If you had the rover maybe a 162tsi tig might be what your after they are certainly getting a lot of love from the vw folk

Tho for a good sports car a R is hard to pass up easy as to live with for a daily driver and goes like a scalded cat when asked to

Just a heads up tho try to get one without the sunroof as they are having issues atm with the drainage mine is in the shop atm for leaking a common issue it appears (you can order a brand new one without the roof if you want the pack that has it in just delete it and they will build it without)
