Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    WA Newbie, mk6 GTI

    Hi all
    Newbie to the forum from metro Perth, WA.
    Just picked up a white DSG mk6 GTI. Been after a manual for a while but after giving the DSG a throw I’m a convert.

    Found this forum after looking for info on a couple of issues with the car (mainly a rattle coming from the boot and a sound like the rear LHS shock bottoming out over bumps) and reckon this place will be a wealth of info.
