how you guys doing.

thought id introduce myself, my name is John, im in sydney. new to golfs so not a golf owner yet but will be getting a mk1 (maybe mk2) once i finish my other Torana project and the wallet recovers.

what are your opinions as to which golf (mk1/2) would be a better daily driver.

Welcome to the forum, John. I can't give you an opinion on Mk 1s Vs Mk2s ... but I'm sure you'll get plenty. Enjoy your car and the forum ... there are numerous knowledgeable ppl on here who can and will help you thru the tricky bits.

Hey John, welcome to the forums mate. Glad to hear you're gonna go euro it's fun.

Having not been in either mk1 or mk2 golfs, I'm only guessing when i say a mk2 might be a better daily because of the newer age and updated technology.
