NSW T4 restoration enthusiast! too many going through the crusher!

Hey guys, im from Nelligen about 10 mins west of Batemans Bay, my first car was a late 70s nissan urvan and i immediately got the van bug, i think im on my 7th tin can now and its a 1996 t4 trakka swb (Van Morrison). it has a few problems and in the persuit of repairing it i have found that so many t4s are getting gutted and scrapped, this really irritates me so im going to start buying as many as i can and restoring them and converting them into campers. in my opinion t4s are the toughest van VW ever built and they are a dream to work on compared to any other van i have ever owned, lets keep them alive!

Maybe I'm a little biased as I also have a 96 T4 with a part Trakka conversion. When I was researching what make and model of van was best for converting to a campervan the T4 came out way ahead in terms of practicality, reliability and value for money ... 7 years later and I couldn't be happier with my decision!
