Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW Chasing T4 parts

    Hey guys, I have a 96 t4 Trakka swb 2.5P and the auto transmission is a gonner. I really want to get it back on the road and ive seen so many out there getting parted out and then thrown in the crusher such a shame, a few years ago i went out to see a guy somewhere in between Queanbeyan and Bungendore and it had a sign on the gate thats says Broadlands, he had a whole paddock full of t4s, i have lost his phone number and i dont want to just turn up at his property plus its a long way to go and find out that he has moved out or something. does anyone on here know the guy im talking about? if so it would be greatly appreciated if someone could pass on his phone number so i can get van morrison ready for a road trip up north.
