Forum only readable to users

The server is being hammered again by crawlers, we are seeing tens of thousands of "users" online. Rather than give up and take the whole thing offline, I've switched it over so users must be logged in to even read the forum. I've also removed the ads completely once you're logged in since they are now basically worthless and annoying.

It's not ideal, but it keeps things online for now until I work out a better approach.

    Hi there first post first vw 07 GTdi found the forum looking for tech info specs and diy like to know how things work and research preventative maintenance .
    Allready found some good tips and info looking forward to seeing how the vw goes have a good day.
