Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Will be the owner of a December 2016 build Tiguan Comfortline with Driver Assist, hopefully during the week.

    Is that a demo or used car? Interested to hear how a 12 month old car is still sitting around and what deal you got on it.

    I'm guessing you bought it locally?

      Sorry for this late reply Tigger73, just noticed your reply now.
      I have purchased an unregistered (without on road costs, Dec 2016 built) Comp date March 2017 Tiguan Comfortline with DAP + metalic paint (advertised as demo with 300ks). Cost delivered to Adelaide from NSW $36.000. Not the best deal but still cheaper than what was on offer locally. Unfortunately, I have spent last 2 weeks chasing up the car as it is being shipped via snail mail (or a few dingos are pulling it to Adelaide.) It appears the Xmas and New Years break was not a good time to transport a car interstate (Free delivery..., yeah right). Learn from mistakes I guess. Dealers will say anything until they get the money. If I am lucky car arrives Friday via Melbourne, otherwise, another weekend gone bye.
