Hi all i have a 2017 Tiguan bought new. Was travelling the other day and emergency warning came up that gearbox was in emergency mode. Drove an hour to nearest mechanic and it felt like car was sitting in between gears. Advised needed a new mechatronic unit. I am going to follow up with VW itself as this seems tobe a known problem with similar vehicles around this age. Has only done 50,000 km. Has anyone with similar car had any assistance from VW? I went to the dealership i puchased car from thid morning and he said if i got the car there hecouldsend off paperwork but he didnt sound confident i would get any assistance.
