Hey guys just wondering who is going up this year ? i went last year and it was a nice fun day , dad had the trikes runnning and cousin had the silver mk1 .
Think i might head up for both days this year ,maybe a group of us could all cruise together or something ?

Way ahead of you there I'm booked in for racing so is another Mk1 and a possible 3rd mk1 (if its ready in time) will be heading out racing both days everything is organized and booked, we went last year to watch saw only 1 mk1 and was like thats going to change next year lookout for the convoy of Mk1s on trailers

HAHAHA that was my cousin Josh , and at that stage i had my mk2 but i didnt do anything ,.. dad said just to have fun i should enter the mk4 >but i think she is way to slow and id be better to push her down the track ,
haha can see its going to get a bit more competition in the years to come then , i better watch out next year then . .. heheh

Alot of the USA series drag racing is over the 8th mile , its just alittle shorter which more skill is involved getting off the line is key

Dude, they're running 1000 foot now, not 1/8th mile. And its only the fuel cars (Nitro F/C and Top Fuel).

Yeah i realized what i wrote few hours afterwards my mate is right into that stuff in the states was chatting about it few days ago but the people that know me knew what i ment

But more importantly we have 3 mk1s and a Mk2 jetta confirmed for Warwick, flying the flag for the water pumpers
