Hi Paul, bad news. My coolant light came on today and I ducked into VW. There is a leak and booked for repair next week. I hope a reserve can enjoy the day. I know there is no refund. I would bring my other car but it may slow down the others slightly being a Prado! 😂 Turbo diesel though. Vrooom vroom.

Ok people please remember to inflate road tyre pressure and check oil and water before getting to the track. Also for those paying for passengers please bring correct cash $20 per passenger. See you all there at Lakeside 7am

OK - the migraine-martians have struck me again (this time the other-half)...... and I'll be unable to partake in the laps tomorrow. I'm hoping I might still be able to make it to at-least spectate or the after-event meet up.

So my laps spot is up for grabs to whoever Paul wants to allocate it to.... enjoy guys.

So I know we're not supposed to be racing or timing laps etc.... but out of interest I went back through my footage and timed one of the laps where the traffic was pretty clear and I did about 1:15. For those of you who do timed events at Lakeside, assuming a clear track and none of the special "happy laps" rules, do you think a 1:10 would be reasonable for me & my car?

So for your reference I was doing 1.03 in my tuned MK6 R in a time attack event. The cones at happy laps take you off the correct line and slow you down heaps. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately after camera troubles during the session not much could be done with the photos captured making them very "Blurry". Most paddock shots turned out fine however. More to be added over the next day or two. Follow link below.
