Anyone going this sunday? A continuation of the social scene. Organised by the Volkswgen Association, meet at Muirs carpark, Constitution dock at 10am for a drive out in the country where we will be stopping for pizza for lunch and the usual bulls....ting as sh..tstirring!
Have to let Nino or Peter & Pat know. Try ringing 62285824 to confirm, and bring a camera, not a speed one!!!

I will be there. Delux is coming aswell. This is the first cruise of my newly finished rat ride 64 notchback. Cant bring the water pumper, got to take pics of the type 3 for a feature in the hoodride this month. Man some of the puriests are going to hate this car, Delux has done me a huge favour and i think the car will open some jaws on sunday morning, most of them wont get it but F#cken oath its horn. If they are still sleepy they are gunna wake up when this rolls in.

We will deliver some more piccies I reckon! Hopefully some different cars as well. There will be some a/coolers there so I hope we dont cause more trouble. I might let the daughter drive the cabrio as well. Have to tape up the torn roof! The new roof arrived but the inner was black instead of white. (too dark!)

The drive wont be real formal mate Colebrook pizza house cant be that full on they need concrete numbers, just come along for a cruise.
Been flat out this week mate, been off work and doing the contracting thing out at Campania, havent been into the big smoke to call in and have a chat, but the gti is going heaps better and the exhuast has changed the note heaps funny we couldnt tell that day at your place. Got more go up the top of the rev range.

Type three is certainly old skool now. Been a heap of work firstly for me and lastly and lately for me old buddy delux, Man you have kicked arse on this one!!!!!!!!!

Was a good drive yeserday, bout 15 VWs, 4 watercoolers I think, so I dont think there will be any photos on this forum? My daughter drove me round in the cabrio and there was another member in her Mk5 GTI ho was extremely lucky not to clean up a crazy female in a Mondeo. The company was great as was the pizza!

It was a great day, good company and the weather was kind.
Yes there are some aircoolers (and waterpumpers too) in these pics, but if you don't like them don't look.

VW club days are just that...For all VWs. If there had been no water cooled cars in the pics then I would have deleted the posts, delux. I look at it this way, it's evolution and it's good to see the modern waterpumpers in with their predecessors.

HA! Pervis Eureka, aircooler too. Cant see the Golf GLI cabrio at the back. Had to buy a packet of tic-tacs and get a receipt to go in the draw for a prize as well.
