So 34 deg day predicted on Sunday. For those that are tuned and are able to, good idea to watch those oil temps when on track. If you see over 115 deg probably a good idea to cool it off for a few laps.

Reminder that you can add passengers on the day no worries ($20 each). Please have correct money if you can.

      Cheers
      Paul

        JB4 guys,
I've been emailing George, he has told me to run Map 1 so it does not get to hot.
How does the JB1 go for a 1/2 hour track blast?

I saw temps around 112C at QR in December. I backed off for a few laps and it dropped back to about 107/108.

I'll stick with Map 6 as I have a manual and just keep an eye on things.

Map 1 not good for manuals? Or you got other mods as well

Actually it's fine and I ran it for a while. Map 6, however, applies less torque low down to reduce the stress on the clutch. So I run it now to be on the safe side.

I'm unable to attend today. Happy for paul to allocate my paid spot (driver + passenger) to someone on the reserve list who attends or anyone else that shows up and wants a go.
Looking forward to seeing the happy snaps and videos of the event later!
Enjoy guys - don't let the heat ruin the day though

Thanks Paul for organising today - was a shorter session but still good fun. Heat was getting a bit crazy there toward the end.

Thanks everyone for a good morning.

                            Thanks for organising Paul!

This was another great event. Apologies to those who I slowed down, This was my first time out in a RWD car and I didn't want to take any risks.

Some photos I snapped up on my camera :

Thanks again Paul, appreciate the work you put in to organise these, as always.

Good to see everyone behaving themselves again too.

I didn't mind it being a bit shorter this time, I pulled in a bit early anyway. Didn't want to push too hard in this heat. Something in the front end didn't feel quite right today, it felt a bit floaty. Could have just been down to the heat... anyway, it's due for a service soon so I'll get the brakes, suspension & steering checked out.

Here's my video. The camera mount is dodgy af and rattles, and I forgot to turn off speed alert so the car dings every time I hit 130kmh, but apart from that the footage is ok. I got a bit sweary a couple of times, forgot the camera was there (whoops) so please ignore that...

Look forward to seeing other people's photos and footage!
