It was a great run considering the weather wasn't being favorable towards us. It was a slow start to the day which was a good thing because I was rather hung over but that was quickly solved by a greasy burger at Wisemans. Most memorable moments would have had to have been the caddy creeping its way towards the front of the pack as we wound our way around the hills.

It was great to meet some new peoples and also to catch up with the regulars. Thanks again for a tops day.

Don't worry Mickey, I was there representing the mk3's as well, but I was disappointed there were no other VR's. I thought I might have company, but that idea went in a plume of dirty black smoke. I think I had the largest cylinderage there.

What a great day, and even in the wet it was an excellent drive even though I had to part earlier (damn work ). By the way, who was in the caddy, he was demolishing everyone!

Hope to see everyone again real soon...

Hey, we were still a mk3 - and if you calculate 1.9L x 1.5bar = 2.85L.... so not so different from yours .

Myself, Niel and Chris (in the red diesel caddy) were all chatting outside the lunch shop at wisemans for ages -

maybe we need forum name nametags for these events like at the 'nats?

great day, had fun. Megan, my gf - said this, as we were going up the hill towards central mangrove:

"Man, whats with this speed? I thought we would be going FAST! This is boring."

HAHAHA! I guess you can't please everyone. and no diesel jokes either, I was with you guys all the way
