Looking forward to seeing a link to the video footage captured by khaotic. I think they may be setting a very high standard for capturing footage of these events 😀

What an excellent day with some great cars and awesome people.
Nice to see some familiar faces plus some new ones.
And khaotic - nobody is going to bother taking pictures at these events anymore! You're officially expected to work your photographic magic!!! That video is awesome!
HUGE thanks to Jason for organising this yet again.

Interesting info: proof that the "Eco" mode button is pure w@nk-factor and is really not that achievable in reality..... I've been driving around for the last few tanks of fuel in Eco mode. Mix of town and highway driving, but no real "spirited" driving - best I've managed is around 8.3L/100 mark. That's without A/C, always premium 98.
Absolutely caning around the mountains on this cruise (totally within legal limits of course), in normal Drive mode for the long easy sweeping high-speed stuff, and Sport for the fanging twisty mountain stuff..... and my economy is sitting at 8.7L/100 !!!
Absolutely expected well into the 9's or higher..... just goes to show how well these engines perform "economically", even at high output.2016 Skoda Octavia 162TSI RS Wagon

I honestly don't know why the RS isn't AWD by default. It's the "sports car" of the range.... the Superb is a family car.
Yes, 206kw makes sense in the Superb because it's a bigger car... but the RS should really be the fire-breathing stonking AWD screamer, equivalent to the Golf R.
Unfortunately Skoda have done their marketing/model lineup a bit backwards.
Still love my car though....2016 Skoda Octavia 162TSI RS Wagon

Glad you guys liked the vid! Looking like I'll get my CC in the next few days, so might head out for another drive this weekend. Any recommendations? If I don't get any other suggestions, plan is to basically follow where we went last weekend, because they were some wicked roads!
