An awesome event. Thanks LibraR and all others who attended - was really good to perv on some nice cars and the drive was fantastic.

Managed to scare my passengers (and myself) a couple of times, but fun was had by all.

Group of us got lost leaving Maleny and ended up winging it..... but overall a really good day.

Keen to do it again.

Hey guys and girls, for those that enjoyed the last drive day (or those that missed it and want to join in) I'm going to start planning another drive day. I'm thinking of a slightly longer drive with a pub lunch. Current thinking is back roads to Imbil for lunch at the pub and different back roads to return. Starting point somewhere north side tba and date I'm thinking a Sunday in the weeks following Easter outside school hols. Any interest?

Bellthorpe Road is a must.

Apparently there's some nice bits along Reeseville Road according to my housemate who did it a few months ago.

As an alternative, the Tamborine/Canungra/Lions Road/Murwhillumbah run is always good too

I'm thinking north again next cruise and maybe south later in the year. Lions rd is under repair until June or so apparently so south run might be Gold Coast hinterland to murwillumbah and perhaps up to kyogle from there. Be good to have return option via Lions rd. It's a great drive that run!

For this coming one, there are fantastic roads around palm woods and ilkley that would enable bellthorpe range road.
