I've just laid down a deposit on a new Scirocco R last week, it's been a couple of years since I've been to a happy laps but I'll have to bring the new car out to give it a burn at the next available session! Lakeside is a lot of fun

Just a question for Sunday and the weather. Will this go ahead no matter what or will lakeside cancel if the weather is to bad?

Yes we do still run in wet weather, of course in a safe manner and drive to the conditions.

and remember, this is a cruise event and not a timed session and not a 1/4 mile event either

keep decent gap around the corners, only overtake on the main straight, unless clearly signalled by the driver in front for the back section.

there will be QR Sprint at Willowbank on 2 July 2016 Saturday PM session $145 if you are keen on timed unrestricted laps.

and Lakeside Sprint on 30 July 2016 Saturday PM session $145.

and also Lakeside TimeAttack on 31 July Saturday AM or PM $180.

this is the type of drivers hated the most by regular drivers on race tracks with corners:

the same applies for cruise Happy Laps but at much lower pace.

for the benefits of all participants, if you see 20 cars right behind you at the back section and you are not comfortable to go a little bit enthusiastically when your steering wheel is not straight and just because you are on APR Stg 8+++++++--+++%%, doesn't mean you should do something like in the clip :p

we want people to be Happy after the Happy Laps
