Hi Dan Unfortunately the main list is full but I will put you on the reserve list. Please have a read of all the information and rules and requirements at the start of the thread on page 1 when you get a chance. What colour is your car? Cheers Paul

        Hi Paul,

I might withdraw from this one: I still have a few issues to resolve with the car- please remove me from the list.

        Cheers,

        Micah

because if anyone does like below, the session is ended despite it is only 2 minutes into the track...

and the above was a sprint, so it continued

Its a great app. I have it on my iPhone and you can load in the race track and it gives you sector and lap times. Also if you have and OBD2 wifi dongle it will talk to the phone and app to give you speed revs throttle brake application etc. When you finish recording your time on track you overlay the data and you get what you see in Nats clip.

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to invest in it too. I already have an OBD2 dongle from my Mk5 that's on the shelf gathering dust...

I don't believe that all dongles work with harry's, best to check out harry's laptimer website for details. There's also a very detailed forum that may be worth a search to also validate what works or not. A good external GPS (5 or 10hz) is a better investment for track events.

As a side note for the newer participants and while talking this stuff, do not upload happy lap video with speed telemetry or speak of speeds reached in these threads. I can vouch that these threads are absolutely monitored and sharing of such content could jeopardize QR's ability to allow us to enjoy these events. The QR group gives us reasonable latitude to partake in the events in a manner we enjoy, i.e. not making it a drag racing event.

I let you know if the one I bought will work. I thought I try a $25 version first before jumping into the $100 dongle ...

and if after doing happy laps and you feel it is too restricted, you can join a Street Sprint ir TimeAttack event, held every month or 2 at lakeside.
