Add me in please. I have crashed my VR6 and get it back early December thanks to lack of brakes. But on closer inspection, it has been a disastrous DIY upgrade job by the previous owner. Something I overlooked when buying. So have to spend some serious cash on suspension, brakes and tyres to get to acceptable presentation level... Oh well the perils of buying privately hey. On an upside the interior is great and worthy of more investment

I would greatly appreciate some advice and guidance on getting this vehicle to presentation level. Thanks in advance.

just to keep everyone excited, this was from last week's TimeAttack at Lakeside:

The VW Happy Laps event is awesome with great bunch of people but keep in mind the pace is restricted for everyone's safety and enjoyment.

TimeAttack is even more AWESOME if you want to test the limits with very limited number of cars per run, capped at 10 cars, so plenty of space to go all out

and another thing, just like VW Happy Laps, TimeAttack emphasizes on safe overtaking (on the main straight only) and never on the back section (unless clearly signaled by the person being overtaken) or even just before a corner entry on the inside (in real races yes this is a way to gain position) as everyone has different track skills. i personally like to overtake or being overtaken on the early section of the long straight just after the final corner which is the safest way.
