Hey eveyone, my car finally went over the pits this morning and got WA plates. So now I'm itching to go for a drive.

I was thinking of something hilly with a stop at a winery with decent food. Anyone have any ideas?

    g'day runamuk.

i'm finding any time to go on a cruise a bit difficult at the moment due to other commitments.

However, i was thinking of trying to organise an informal breakfast one sunday morning, say meet at Fast Eddys (carousel 8am ish?) for a chinwag and a breakfast, and leave all the cars in the carpar for others to admire.

Other ideas on that one too?

G'day gang.....I will be up for this (or another GTG) in July.

I am hoping (desperately) to have the car by the end of the month.

However, if it is this month (and I am home)...I am sure you won't mind a bit of Yamaha goodness gracing the car park?

Sounds good mate, I'll be up for this.

I am keen to go driving ASAP... I'll probably spend most of this evening doing laps of Perth.

I've been finding excuses to leave the office and go for a drive all day long

I have all of this month up to the 4th July free (I have taken a month off work to relax) so I can come along anytime.

posted a silmilar question on OzAudi for the breakfast idea.

Once i get enough takers, I'll try to coordinate a good date and advise.

suspect it will be in the next 2 - 3 weekends

                      Cheers Gareth,

Read the thread over @ "Audi"....I can testify to the great breakfast provided by the "Witches Cauldron" in Subiaco. I had the "BIG" breakfast there last month....WOW!!! and only cost about $17.00 for the best damn breakfast I have had for ages (and I am in the Catering Industry! )

Ive enjoyed many a good Garlic prawn at the witches cauldren, but didnt realise they did breakfasts.

If we went there, where would you suggest weparked the cars (to ensure we get good 'exposure')

There is plenty of street parking in Rokeby Rd (both sides)...but my guess is you would have to be there early.

Alternative: Indiana Tea House (not sure if they do breakfast), The Marina @ Mindarie (I'll walk down and say g'day), Hillarys, Freo?

but that Witches Cauldron breakfast sounds pretty good!

... not sure if it can top the CBD Rydges buffet breakfast though

and Steve if my gf cant come you're more than welcome to keep me company on the drive (providing you DONT touch the stereo.. or my knee)
