say if i bought my car over for a short period...?

i know its possible here. we have tourist allowances for driving vehicles registered in say australia for up to 12 months.. on aussie plates..

So if you're young and have a hotted up car, you automatically are a hoon? I love that premisconception. I, for one dont hoon. I quite enjoy seeing the older blokes jump to that conclusion. I'd take a guess and say the older ones dont hoon either?

It is irellevant what I think its just the conception that the police and the forces of law and order have that young people in hotted up cars are gonna break the law and so they target us.

However a cruise of old beetles etc is probably just quaint and wont attract the same attention.

I dont know what it is like where you live, but here is the most overpoliced area I have ever lived / driven in and i have been all round the world. Its just a cash bonanza for the state govt, but I dont want to be a part of it.
