Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Sounds good but the people coming from the west will have a bit of a problem lol, or is that the best suggestion?

Yeah it would be. I've never been to Kangaroo Valley before either, so if someone can post up a map, I can organise a place to meet up for the Westies first.

or there's where we met for the vortex cruise last time. the pheasants nest rest stop/service station/cafe. its near the start of the good bit. how about the people who want to meet at the m5 can do that and then drive in convoy down to the main meet at pheasants nest? http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=d&h...=UTF8&t=h&z=18

                ps im still lift-less

this route is approximately what we did on the last vortex cruise... moss vale rd is definitely the go. theres tonnes of places we can turn off to go play soccer the destination on moss vale road is the awsome pie shop, good lunch spot. http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=d&h...6,0.32135&z=12

Ahh easy. Looks like the Westies can meet up at Liverpool Krispy Kremes again, then head straight down Hume Hwy to Pheasants Nest and meet up with the rest of the gang.

For the meet time, is it going to be 10am at Pheasants Nest?

haha nar just well organised man been through the valley a few times since and reckon the route we went that day is the best one to take. its the longest with the best quailty roads and the least cars.

Where abouts are you located JET-28L? You can either meet up at the M5 truck stop just after the airport tunnel (westbound) or Liverpool Krispy Kremes at 9am. Or, you can meet up at Pheasants Nest at 10am. Refer to the above posts for locations!
