I was going to try to get something like this going whilst I was still down there. Our old meeting place at the lake in Sth Melbourne has heaps of parking but you'd need to take a few snags or someting like that and have a BBQ. Just an idea perhaps to be thrown around...

Mondays are good for me, Tuesdays are a no no for me(tennis every tuesday).
I don't mind where we go as long as it's easily accessable for everyone.
Pub....Fish and chips.....Pizza....BBQ.....all doable in an area where theres parking and maybe some parkland.

Williamstown is good and we can all park together if we go to Ann st and wander back. I like having pies and its quiet enough on a monday we will be able to get in places.
I think directly in the city is hard because people coming from west side will be 1 hr late because of traffic on the bridge. We could also go down to port melbourne, but there isn't free parking there. I don't mind Chapel st either, but parking is once again the hard thing.

im thinking we should keep this a cheap and cheerful type thing. Just so it may appeal to a wider spectrum of people.
Something like a la porchetta or that kinda thing perhaps? Especially in the colder months coming up not really gonna be much fun sitting outside int he cold!

depends what time we have it, as to the location really.
if it's later, it can be a pub or cafe, (say 8pm), but if it's like 6-7pm, then you need to think about dinner...
I'd vote for an 8pm. gives plenty of time to get home and eat and change and scratch your balls etc...
