Hay all...Sorry about the slackness of posting, it's just been a pain to get the Vortex crew into line...I'll be there @ 8:30am, i'm in a Silver Jetta (should be hard to miss), and I'll take all who can make it for a little spin.

If you look in the bottom left corner of this map, you'll see a small carpark at the corner of Gold Coast Springbrook RD and Somerset Drv. If we can meet here @ 8:30am for a 8:45am head off, we'll shoot up the road a bit and I'll take you on some of my favourite rides. The path is about 2 hours in length, and you'll have some nice scenary flash past as you go. Partners are certainly welcome, and encouraged, and we can all stop for a little rest at a nice little coffee shop along the route and perhaps see some hang gliders along the way.

Tom, will let u know if I'll make it; but the meet place alone is 85km from my place (Indooroopilly) and that x 2 + the ride will be a few too many km's in my opinion; not to mention highway driving sucks @ss.

Wanna do a Brisbane based run instead? Mt. Nebo + Glorious + Somerset Dam or something? I did that a few weeks ago with a mate in an A3 2.0T DSG and it was "only" some 250kms...

Hay Felipe, I have done the GC run once before and I did't mind it at all, I will head down to it on the 14th.

I have done the Mt Nebo Glorious Somerset Dam a lot more than the GC run, If you want to organise the run you at talking about for another time I would come to that as well as long as I don't have anything on.

Being Northside BNE, i wouldn't mind this run as another option (providing i take delivery on WED as promised ) for the upcoming Saturday. Would be a good opportunity to 'run her in'

come on guys you do it because your an enthusiast traveling is part of it its approx 90kms to gold coast and approx 95kms to Brisbane for me and im in a 1976 MK1 no power windows, no air con, hard suspension, fuel economy is around 14litres to 100kms, but it has style and im not afraid to drive it
