Hi Gavin, please take me off the list for now until i get my engine mount bracket fixed.
Last January i had a water pump replacement done at PRESTIGE & PERFORMANCE COORPAROOO (in a rush or for whatever reason) and the timing belt upper cover missed a bolt (out of 2), my front right wheel was damaged and this evening i found out that the engine mount bracket is not sitting right. There are only 3 bolts securing that bracket and one (or 2 or all 3) must not have been torqued correctly. Hopefully no damage has been done to the engine block....
I've had similar problems with things not being put back together properly by them.
That is the last time I use them ever again.

That's tragic Nat. No chance of getting it done before? I'll take you off for now.
Gavin
Gavin, i have bought new bolts and booked to have a timing belt and water pump replaced (which includes removing and refitting the crooked bracket) this Saturday at VW Springwood (yes they are open Saturdays, the only VW service that does this in QLD).

Will let you know by Sunday if all goes well (no other damages done due to P&P negligence) and ready for Happy Laps in time
VW services quoted me $1030-$1100 to have timing belt and water pump job done, which is in fact cheaper than P&P original quote of $1000 just to have water pump replaced (timing belt was extra).
That's good news then Nat. Look forward to hearing from you over this weekend.
