no, they can just lean on the side of the car thanks. you're car would prob be ok though as you can screw in the hook through the standard grill.

Have spoken to my good ricer mate, Tenegah has a 4wd roller dyno which should suit us well. They're in wangara (up behind all the car yards).

I had mine stock as a rock on the dyno. I got 122.4kW. Check the Brisbane dyno thread for my readout. I was third off the rank so the engine was still pretty hot. I'm not sure if that would have had too much of an effect on results. Most have said that that result sounds about right.

I want to do a before and after (a chip) in the Jetta, but I understand that few Dyno's in Perth can do diesels. Xspeed is one and wanted $170 each time.
When phoning around, can you ask if they can do diesels please ...Thanks

hmmm, as per my post on ozaudi; just my experience so far however they may well be able to change the setup....

Gareth, yeh I'm interested for sure. I went along to XSpeed with ECCA/BMW a while back and they got my car onto the dyno and then wouldn't run it because they couldn't strap it down. I've seen pics of plenty of Golfs on dynos so I guess they were holding them down manually (ie ppl leaning on the car!) or strapping through the wheels. There's no fixed front tow point on the front of the Golfs (mk IV anyway), it's removable and slots in through the grill, so I wonder if the equivalent gen S3 might be the same???

Went to Xspeed few weeks ago and they couldn't strap the car. If you guys find some other place I'll come.
