  • Group Dyno Day in Perth?

    Hi all,

Has anyone been involved or would like to be involved in a group dyno day in Perth?

Also, does any know who operates a 4WD dyno in Perth area?

Let me know if yr interested in participating, and I'd be happy to arrange one if there is sufficient interest

(Ive also posted this on the OzAudi forum)

yeah i would be up for a group dyno day!

heres a list of places where one could go...

          Hyperdrive Motorsports - Malaga - 9209 3100

          C-Red Tuning - Welshpool - 9356 1822

          Top Racing - Carlisle - 9470 2222

          Ovaboost - Malaga - 9249 7998

          Tengah Motorsports - Wangara - 9408 0600

          Allstar Garage - Malaga - 9248 7433

and what ever you do dont go to Genie Exhaust Centre dyno.. they have a bad rep as they 'tweak' their results to make it look like that fully sik zorst they put on the rex has given it IMMMMENSE power gains

also forget Xspeed as theyre absolute ripoff merchants and charge through the roof!

if one does get organised and we need to bulk up the numbers im sure my mates wouldnt object to tagging along, that includes a Mini Cooper S JCW, Nissan Silvia S15 and a freshly imported EP3 Civic Type-R (the hardcore one that preceded the current POS type-r)

LOL runamuk, no offense was intended to our Japanese friends.

Its an oooooold expression, to say something "didnt have the strength to pull the skin off a rice pudding".

rice pudding is a traditional dessert from "the mother country"!!

lol, not meant to offend runamuk either. I tend to say lots of things that could be offensive, but not intended to be, hence i use the smiley a lot.

ive always admired the VR6 but only from afar as they were way beyond my financial league when the first came out, and now I was chasing something a bit more modern, hence the S3 purchase.

4WD dynos are not too common in Perth.

A friend of mine rallies WRX's and he's recommended United Fuel Injection Services in Redcliffe.

I chatted to them on the phone and the guy seemed very knowledgeable (but all would when talking to me!!)

does anyone have and positive or negative opinions on United?

Never heard of them. I have a few friends in the wrx scene, I'll ask them. Have had dealings with Tenegah personally though and they're quite the friendly mob. They just had nooooo idea what a VR6 was tho!
