      cant believe you got a vr6 for 200. Anyways, my Scirocco is a DNA stage 1+ tune. Same tune as I had only last years Dyno day which netted 191kw, after a Dump pipe and hpfp netted 221... pretty good gains for about 1k in mods.

        That's some awesome numbers, 7kw more than mine with less mods than mine! I might look into DNA because they will allow to tweak it a bit unlike apr.

        Have you got your print out ? I would like to compare with mine

        Cheers

              Thanks for the pics stary. Have you worked out the real torque output yet?

                  How do you actually work it out? is it something to do with the Gearing being a torque multiplier, i know i could probably just google this.

                    A quick google nets me:

                    HP = Torque x RPM ÷ 5252
                    221.6kw = 297hp
                    hp * 5252 / rpm = torque in ftlb

                    so 297 * 5252 / 3500 (this is where my torque peaked) = 445.7 ft lb = 604Nm?

                    probably should be using torque at peak HP RPM

                    so 297 * 5252 / 6000 (this is where my power peaked) = 260 ftlb = 352Nm?

                    Second figure looks more realistic, but can someone confirm.

                    Edits:

                    Or is it using the values at where Torque Peaked,

                    which gives you approximately 160kW @ 3500rpm

                    160kW = 215 hp

                    215 * 5252 / 3500 = 322.6 ftlb = 437Nm

                    Which seems about right??

                      Last option is right one.
                      Get the HP & RPM at the peak torque point - that is the right combo. 437Nm sounds reasonable gains over stock for a Stage 1 with the mods you have.
                      If I were you, next goal is to get that torque peak to last longer and not tail off so much toward the higher RPMs.
