VW club are manly aircooled VWs and they drive slow. Im not planing to loose my license on the way there, but i still wanna be able to have a spirited drive. So i'll be in ozzy park
I had a flat tyre yesterday morning and i tried using that glue crap that comes with the car instead of the spare. And guess what, it didn't work!! The tyre is still flat, there is no jack so i can take it off and try to get it repaired. Unbeliavable!! so if i don't get this fixed by sunday, i don't think i'll be able to make it with my car. I'll probably tag along with the BMW club, my friend is going with them.
does anyone know where i can get a second hand 225-40-R18 tyre? I have some new ones on the way, but it might take a month for them to arrive
The VR6 is getting a new sump and heater core put in it.
Oh come on, its not like they will be working on it on sunday!
Im getting Yokohama Parada Spec-2s from US off www.tirerack.com They are much cheaper than here, goodyear Eagle F1s (OEM for MK4 R32s) are US$180 and here you will be paying A$400 min

I'm liking the pricing on some OZ wheels... and tyres!

if you bring a car in from O/S yrself, I dont believe it is necessry to fit new Oz supplied tyres as part of the local compliancing - can anyone confirm this?
