Yep I'll be there. No idea when. Probably wont bother with a camera since it's all a bit sterile for me... cars look better on the open road that in a convention centre.

I'll go on Friday. There should be some interesting cars there, BMW 1 coupe, Tiguan, M3 E92, new A4 etc... Should be good.
In the last years Mitsi stand had the best chicks, i'm looking forward to that

More to enjoy. The R8 is by order only ... They'll build one when you order it and it'll be 12 months. You may also be aware the Tiguan is being released at the end of May and a lot of the 1st shipment is spoken for. A few to WA too after the 1st day of the show. No Merc or BMW at the show, but the new A4 & A6 were there, Nissan GTR, some (cute) Fiats and the usual drewl factors from Barbagello. The 3 biggest stands were Holden (GM really), Ford (new Falcon included) and Volkswagen. BTW, Eat before you go ... $6 for a pie.

I went to the motor show on saturday and i was dissapointed. VW had nice cars, R36 and R50, both beautiful, especially the R36. There was no R32 though. tiguan is nice but it reminds me of Suzuki SX4.
Audi was ok, had 5 cars. I like the new A4 and the TT. the rest was bad. there were not enough cars there. BMW had 3 cars, merc didn't bother at all. New falcon looks ok, and the monaro concept. There was a Hummer H3 there with plastic bull bar!!!
I spent about 45 mins there, spent $16 for entry that i could've spent on something better. Half of that time i was on the VW stand. In the past years the show was much better, but this year, i really didnt like it

                        Balkanac,

Ive always been to the motor show, and ive always walked away very disappointed. we are treated like 3rd world consumers here in Perth, with nothing really exciting on show.

ive wondered why bother spending $16 to look at a car behind ropes, when i can go directly to the dealer and touch it, even drive it, for free!!

the only thing our motor show might have that a dealer doesnt is the babes

Anyway, this year, i didnt bother

I didnt end up going. Had heard alot of bad word from mates and now you guys pretty much cemented it. Kind of pleased, since im near broke anyhow hehe.

and yes I'll agree with the perth 3rd world bit. Yet strangely I see so many high-priced marque's on the road. This city is packed with rich bastards, why arent they being pandered to?
