ADELAIDE - Hillclimb 5th April

The Sporting car club is having a "come and try" day at collingrove on the 5th April. I did this last year and it was heaps of fun. Anyone that hasn't raced at collingrove in competition before can take part so I'll be back for another fang. Cost is $61 inc a days cams licence. Great day I expect to see some vag guys making the effort

Collingrove is an hour out of Adelaide near Anguston/Tanunda. Applications should be available soon I rang today and will update when cams have sent them out.

Should also add there is a competition day the next day (sunday 6th) for anyone that wants a timed run. Obviously costs more see sporting car club for app.

Yea i have a few non VAG people headin up i was gonna go watch them but would be good to see a Dub have a go!

Bargain... Robin a friend of ours who raced a Mk1 at the ring that now lives over there will come... He has a Clio Sport now but is on the Hunt for a Mk3 for a 2ltr TDI conversion

I'd say less than 4 hours tanunda is on the highway to mildura.

Since my wife started uni managing work commitments is proving tough so it may be I HAVE to compete on the sunday instead. If this is the case I'll still make it up on the saturday later on. Just the drive up there through the hills makes the trip worthwhile

This was the best days driving I had last year, better then any trackday by a mile don't think do it!

I can honestly say it's the driver not the cars that make the biggest difference. Your passat is fine if guys in Kingswoods are out there having a riot a nice handling euro eats it up!

Just been looking through some mail and found the entry application. Anyone wants one I'll make a copy and hand em on next Sunday (30th) at GTG. Otherwise Sporting car club on Unley road is open till 4 most days I believe.
