Really its not the skid that is the issue mate (not that I was even there). Its the fact that if that behavious happens continuely the centre security will likely start claling the Police on these meets, and/or the Police will start attending these meets with Defect stations etc etc.

Meaning no where for the meets to happen and noone will go if a large police presence is expected... Another good event ruined by someone being a hero.

Im sure everone here loves a good skid, but time and place. Skidpan, drift day, drags, LVMA, "Private road" etc. but really middle of town on one of the busiest roads in the area

I never once said it was acceptable. Honestly this whole group is a bunch of old tight assholes. This has been blown ridiculously out of proportion. What i did was merely a skid/burnout or whatever you want to call it. This happened like 3 weeks ago and you are all still sooking about it. Did the cops come and defect your bone stock Gti's? No? so move on.

I completely understand why you are all upset. All im trying to say is that i think it's time to move on. So what i did a skid? I apologize for pissing you all off and clearly won't be allowed back. TBH it is made clear in the first post what rules are that are associated with these events. Defending your actions is also a no-no when it is against the rules. If you had said initially in your first post that you had done something wrong and against the rules, then maybe you would not be frowned upon so much. This would have especially helped if you did something about it on the thread for the previous meet that night or the day after.

We have attempted a meet at a different venue a few months ago but ground security called the police even though we were well behaved and in an open car-park not restricting their business. It is lucky that we (so far at least) seem to have no issues with using Newmarket's shopping centre car-park.

There are places you can rev your engine freely, go fast and drift in a relatively safe environment as mentioned previously. This is not one of those meets/venues.
