Please be aware that QLD Raceways does monitor the forum and as such any posts regarding activities that breach the rules of the track/happy laps will be noted by the staff and you may be banned from the events.
Also please provide the make, model and colour of your car when "booking a spot" so we can confirm who is out there.
Okay guys, round 19!
Lakeside raceway again for breakfast ($25)
The Breakfast starts at 7:30am sharp and we should be out on the track by 8:15am after a safety briefing.
I will be there from about 7:15am
Rules:
Note: this is not a dedicated track event, people have been warned previously about their driving conduct and as a result we have been pulled off early.
No PPE gear required (i.e. no need for a helmet, fireproof long sleaved shirt etc). I would recommend shoes though.
No undercutting to overtake on the corners. Only overtake on straight sections of the track.
If you are not overtaking anyone on the straight stay to the left of the track and let any car that is consitantly on your tail (Worked Golf R's/GTI's/TTS and Lotus etc) overtake. If you are quicker then you will be able to match their speed and then they should let you overtake next time.
All vehicles that enter must be road-worthy and registered.
People other than the driver:
People who wish to split the driving are required to pay the same amount as the driver.
People who wish to passenger do not have to pay unless they want breakfast.
People who wish to watch from trackside do not have to pay unless they want breakfast.

I am having this open to forum contributors if they are in a Euro car.
Anyone can come and passenger with you.
I am capping the numbers at 20 cars in order to keep the event fun and not have traffic delays.
When the main list is full, nominations will go on the reserve list and when/if someone pulls out you get moved form reserve into the main list. Unfortunately if you do not make it to the main list we can't accommodate you at the event but if there are any forum members remaining on the reserve list by the cut-off date i will place them on the main list when i organise the next one in order to give a fair spread.
Please let me know if you are coming and how many people you will be bringing with you for catering purposes.
Directions for entry:
Drive across the causeway, then follow the road to the right around the back of the track then enter the tunnel on your left and head right to the group parking on the grass area in front of the big yellow building.
