Yeah turn one is a fun corner, over cook it and you never find either apex, which I did that, hitting the bumps on the way out. The last corner on to the straight can also send you wide with under steer if you miss the turn in than have an awful run onto the straight. I found running around both corners in 4th to be consistent for balance, hitting apex and good exit speed. Data overlay from previous events supported this approach too, with minimal variation between punching 3rd or short shifting 4th and using the torque.
That's probably my tip, bouncing off redline doesn't translate into a lap time or good lines. Good lines will supersede kilowatts and let the torque get you through and out of the corner rather than revs. (copy right to me,
)
But I'm rambling now, it's a beer and spreadsheet conversation that one

Sean, I just found it hard reaching down to adjust the Haldex and Suspension while going through some of the corners/straights...
Then I'd just go hard at the next corner to see if I did something unusual, how would the car respond. Ultimately, the car is so unbelievably good around corners I think I'd have to be almost suicidal to get it out of control.Comment
