Im trying to pull some strings thru a couple contacts.Working 7 days and 14+ hrs a day is killing my down time.next week is a little easier so I'll check back with them on monday.Sorry guys.

Coffee night is coming up in a week and a half (Wednesday 3rd Sept).... so the question is where do we meet up?

We also need to work out what we're doing as far as events in the lead up to Xmas. Next cruise is scheduled for the long weekend so we may want to shift it. Plus possible go-karts and still trying to nail down a Mallala track session if we can too. We'll hopefully have a few options to discuss and sort out a plan/dates for the next couple of months.

Last one was east and before that was north(ish). We could go for somewhere in the city with parking nearby (Hutt St or Gouger St perhaps), or maybe south-west (Glenelg for a change)?

I'm happy to push the cruise date out a week or two; I think that suits several people better (although I may be away that second weekend in October, not sure at this stage). I don't mind working out a plan for karting soon, or we can discuss dates and come up with a schedule over coffee Wednesday week.

If we wanted to do somewhere in the city, maybe another pub meet would work. The Ed Castle at the end of Currie St isn't to hard to park close by (the MSY computer shop and ABS car repairers are usually closed by then so ample parking out the front). There's plenty of room there inside or out and a great $10 menu

Alright guys, as we've not had any more suggestions, let's lock in the Ed Castle on Currie St.

Let's say 7pm for those who want to grab a meal, and 8pm for the stragglers after beer/coffee/dessert.

There's a good beer garden out the back, so if the weather's decent we can congregate there. Otherwise somewhere inside.

It's not awesome, but on a Wednesday night it shouldn't be too bad. There should be on-street parking within a block or so of the pub, and as James said, the MSY computer shop up the road (same side of Currie St, about 100m east of the pub) has parking in front of their store that should be empty (although I don't know about any parking restrictions there). As it's inner-city, be careful how you park on narrow streets, and who you park next to.
