  • NSW Sydney German Autofest. Sunday, March 24, 2013

    Hi

I tried searching for any reference to this event, I apologise if its been brought up before

Sydney German Autofest, organised by the Mercedes Benz Club of NSW.

There is an entry fee of $10 per car, to cover the cost of hiring the park and purchasing the trophies.

The contact this year is the clubs Event Director Nick Harris, m 0408228305.

      Hi

This the second Sydney one, the last one was held on Sunday 19th February 2012 in the car park of Canada Bay Club, Five
      Dock.

It has nothing to do with the one in Canberra, except that all German cars are welcome.

If I was to show my car, is there any indication of the time I can leave? Does the car have to stay there all day?

            Hi

You could ask the organiser but most shows like this are winding down by about 2-3 pm. You can email the Mercedes Club events@mbcnsw.org.au

              Hi

I just got back from checking out the grounds at Tempe for the Sydney German Auto fest along with members from the Mercedes club, BMW club and Porsche, its a great location.

All the other German clubs are saying that they expect around 40 -50 cars. I'm hoping that the VWs can exceed that amount.

I had a few beers with the other club members at the nearby Concordia Club (German), good cold German beers and great German food.
