QLD MK1 Drivers' Group

Hi All,

I hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year break.

The first event on the calendar for the MK1 Drivers' Group is Dubs By The Abbey on Sunday February 17th run by the Bad Little Buggers Club. This will also cover our Christmas BBQ which we were unable to have last year. The itinerary will follow the club's programme:

8am: Meet at the Boondall Entertainment Centre for the cruise

10.30am: Arrive at the Abbey Museum Bribie Island

$10 per vehicle paid to the Bad Little Buggers Cub when you arrive at Boondall.

Bring shade, picnic rug, etc.

I hope to be there in my latest acquisition - a one owner 1977 B1 Passat Estate. I and Grahame Rumballe shared the driving duties bringing it home from Woollongong - it never missed a beat.

Due to the wet weather the Dubs At The Abbey has been postponed to March 10th. Consequently, so to has the MK1 Driver's Group get together. See you on the 10th March (same place and meeting times).
