My dad was having the same issue with his samsung phone so bought the controller, which entirely justifies buying the black. It's just a lot to outlay for some entertainment.

Rhys, it could also be your fluid which has boiled so deteriorated or your rotors have glazed. If you're tracking regularly (as you have been), would be worth changing the fluid to a higher temp. Glazed rotors are from cooking the pads, so sounds like an upgrade is needed, though would want to get the rotor machined at the same time, or upgrade rotor.

Probably a good idea with the fluid. Just unsure how that works with the warranty. Apparently I get all fluids changed at each service for free during the warranty period (every 4-6 months) so I might buy some high-temp fluid myself and ask them to put it in next service. As far as rotors go I might check out the rally ones as I can't find any aftermarket ones that will fit my car. I might need to check out MINI or Pug 207 ones as well.

I had the EBC redstuff before, and they squeeled and eventually crumbled to pieces on Marullan NSW race track. I also have seen crumbled EBC pads on another Golf GTI.

I have been using Stoptech Street Performance Pads and they have been performing very well on track and have not experienced any brake fade yet so far.. also very cheap too!

Yikes, might not get the redstuff then. If you don't mind me asking, where can I buy the stoptech street pads?

Yeah i was thinking about the black but it's a lot of $$ for something i would use once per month (assuming we can continue to have these events)

And i will be mounting it inside on the windscreen as i am affraid of smashing it or having it fall off and run over haha.
