QLD MCM Brisbane meet - anyone interested?

I browsed the Mighty Car Mods forums and noticed there's a Brisbane meet this Sunday. Any dubbers interested in heading there to represent?

What sort of cars & demographic does this usually attract? That's not far from where I live so I may pop in for a look, but probably not if it's going to be a whole heap of VN commodores and Nissan Pulsars with fully sick neons etc...

Tbh, I'm not sure what crowd will turn up but I'm expecting a pretty young crowd. MCM seems to focus a lot on JDM cars with the odd Euro here and there, so those are the sorts of cars we'll probably see.

From what I gather on the forums, this first meet is just to gauge what the MCM fanbase is like in Brisbane. If they get a decent turnout, then there's every chance Marty and Moog will make the trip up to Brissie to say hi.

I'm a fan of the show and I haven't taken the car out to a meet for a while, so it's as good an excuse as any for me

No this meet is just to see how big the fanbase for MCM is in Bris/QLD to determine if it's worthwhile for Marty and Moog to come up here for the "official" meet in February.

And it's this Sunday, not Saturday.

I'm planning on heading on up to have a look see. Not sure how big a turn out they're expecting but parking could become an issue.

Damn....I was in Bris-Vegas yesterday and missed it.
