Thanks for the day Clay, went very well as always! Though there was abit of traffic out there, but managed to practice on hungry and eastern loop lines for next track day Can't wait for the videos to go up ...
Great morning out on the track. Although a bit warm for my poor tyres, however my brakes have bed in properly since the last happy laps so my wheels didn't look insanely coated in brake dust. Dad took heaps of pics and spectator POV videos (over 3 cameras D: ), on one camera the whole happy laps is recorded from spectator POV but the focus went a bit fuzzy for some reason. Also filmed onboard with the go pro.
I improved my racing line through corners a little better this time and using the whole width of the track when I could/needed to. I'm still ecstatic at how well my little DS3 Sport handles the track
Onboards, speccy vids and pics will be up this afternoon going onto tomorrow as well.
Big thanks again to Clay for organising these great events.
Also I overheard someone talking about my car looking like 'Brum' from that kid's TV show before breakfast hahaha. I must say I haven't thought about it looking like Brum until I heard it.

Well thanks everyone for coming out and making it another awesome Happy Laps.
I keep trying to say hi to everyone and remember names and end up forgetting to take any pictures or video.
I will put up the next one on Monday night (around 6pm).
Alright people pictures have uploaded. A lot less than usual as I thought 150-200 photos was a bit overkill last time so there is about 70 photos this time. Hopefully I have included everybody.
Next up is editing and uploading the videos. I also thought the little s-cargo van thingy was pretty cool haha.

Loving all the photos guys. just wondering as I haven't really been watching these events for like the last 6 months, are we still doing qr every second month?

I should probably organise for QR every second month but it is such a dull circuit and the other guy who organised it has said he can't do it any more.
If anyone else wants to take over the QR booking i am happy to let it happen, at this stage the next one will be Lakeside in February.
Thanks for a great morning Clay, loved it. Will sure to be a regular thing from now on.
Haha me too, or an Insignia OPC. You don't work for Opel do you?
No, I know a dealer principal, and he wants to bring one up, and has offered to run it round the track if he can get it.Seemingly they off to Eastern Creek tomorrow to try out the Insignia, corsa and Astra.
Clay, Thanks again for organising these events and the work involved to communicate it to everyone. Another fun morning, if a little warm.
Was quite a bit of traffic so only one clean lap. Ben, apart from the lap below, the first few were otherwise the quickest at around 76sec. I tried recording through the iphone, the phone mount is terrible so the video is ordinary and shakey. It's ordinary vid to bother up loading 30mins, you'll feel crook watching it. I overlaid the telemetry from my gtech lap timer to the video, it's a little out but near enough. Perhaps a better phone mount would make this better. I also uploaded in reasonably low resolution, 640 x 900 or something.

^ Still fun to watch
I like hearing your tyres squeal!
Next time, push through the kink, don't back off. I wanna see 180 through there. I had an "oh ****" moment hitting the brakes late into carousel, but it was all good in the end
