We usually make a stop at Moss Vale McDonald's. Not exactly half way but it's a good stop point for people to have a quick brekkie and/or toilet break. From there it should be pretty smooth sailing towards Canberra.

Be aware, they're are limited spots.

If you turn up late, you will not be able to get in as they wont have any spots available! So anyone who turns up late enjoy the flowers?
      What’s behind you doesn’t matter..

I think fusion is trying to say of you want to display your car you need to ba at the show between 8:30am and 10:30am on the day or risk the display being full. As to your second question - yes you can visit. There is a carpark across the road from the site visitor timings are 10:30am onwards. Hope this helps

Great thank you for the info.

Well since my car has now been fixed from the knocking/rattles I'll be joining you guys on Sunday for the drive. Further I'll just be visiting and not entering my car. Maybe next year.

            See you all on Sunday!!!

We're aiming for a 6:30 leave time from Uncle Leo's and depending on how long we stop for (if we stop), we'll get there around 9:30am.

how long is the drive down and assume there will be facilities for a quick jet wash once we arrive, at the moment it looks as if I'm going and will obviously clean it sat night but because the dam car is blacker than the ace of spades by the time we arrive it'll look as if I hadn't bothered to do anything, all I need is 15mins to jet and dry it and would be gutted not to be allowed in because I went to clean it, lol
Don't know where I'm going but I do know where I've been

Plenty of washes here in Canberra. There is a wash at the BP on northbourne ave on your left just as you enter Canberra (assuming your going to Canberra Hume highway then federal highway from Sydney )

Its an easy 2.5 hours from the M5/M7/Hume hwy Junction...There is a manual carwash at the BP as you first arrive in Canberra and a couple more in ****son/Braddon...all essentially 'on your way' to GAD.

Girlfriend just got out of hospital with blood clots in her lungs, pretty serious stuff for a 19 year old. She still really wants to come though. Will probably meet up with everyone on the Sunday morning but will need to make stops every hour and a half so she can stretch her legs and get the blood pumping around and then catch up again at the show. Hopefully I can find it on my own. Looking forward to it!

Your girlfriend's health is priority one! Such a trooper though that she still wants to come!
