Nope only 1 passat actually, a mk5 was parked up there, but was completely stock I believe

That brown mk1 looks amazing!

Bummed I couldnt make it - was down south helping clean up after a mates wedding. Greeny wasnt really in show condition anyway, but still would have liked to have come down and said hi.

Saw several Dubs on Forrest Hway yesterday arvo 5:30-6ish, presumably heading back to Bunbury or further from DOVW show-

silver Bora (gunning it )
black Scirocco R
white Type 3 squareback
white T5 Van/Transporter, blacked out lights & possibly lowered.

was a good day out, but that locked gate till 3pm will definitely put me off attending next year. either that or you really need a support car so you can bugger off for an hour or two.

won the golf mk1/2/3/4 award which i was happy about, not too much competition though, which was a little surprising!

The locked gate stopped me going as well, I had other things to do and couldn't burn the best part of a day. I hope it was something to do with public liability as I would have had no issue forking over 10 clams to park up for a couple of hours. I don't remember this happening for past shows but that is going back a few years now.

Watercooled has always been a minority at the show.
