Did a search for meets in Hobart and noticed there has been nothing (i could see) for the last couple of years and even then it seems they fell through.
So it is time to actully get together for a meet/chat/coffee ect...
my suggestion is to start with a gathering of all VW owners in hobart (and members from all around if they want to join in)
meet at a location with plenty of parking and coffee. places off the top of my head are cornelian bay, Dru point bicentenial park and im sure there is plenty of spots near sandy bay.
intent to start of with will be to meet first (we can organize drives at a later date) and put a face to the user name, check out each others rides and what there doing to them, have a chat.
from here we should have a better idea of whos around and what ride they have. we can then keep it going as one big VW group or split into vehicle groups (golf, polo ect) or area (north,south, east, west)
So throw up your suggestions, dates, times. if we get enough response to a certain date, time, place ect ill take the lead and lock in a date.
this is a good oportunity to meet fellow VW owners, make new friends, get ideas for your ride and to get contacts for resources and help i.e im a mechanical engineer, quilified vehicle mechanic for deisel and petrol up to heavy road transport and should soon have a VCDS cable.
so lets through some support and time behind this to get together and have a freindly good time
