QLD CRUISE DOWN TO NAMBUCCA FRI 3rd AUGUST for Volkswagen spectacular weekend

We are organising a cruise down to Nambucca Heads, NSW for the Volkswagen spectacular.
Anyone going from Qld that wants to join the cruise down, we will be meeting at Chinderah BP at 6am,( missing am peak hr traffic on coast) allowing for a couple of fun stops on route hope to be at Nambucca midday-ish.
Allowing time to sign up for show & shine etc if not already done, then get back to accommodation to wash car and get it ready for big cruise & show & shine on Saturday( details below)

This event is awesome and only held every two years so well worth the effort

Okay that would be great we will leave Boambee bay at about 8am, so will look to see if there is a meet up somewhere on highway then we can cruise in together you can sign up on line- Entry Forms – Volkswagen Spectacular Cost to register is $30 a family of 2 adults and 2 children or $20 per person
We will plan on getting there, Valla Tourist Park, for 8.30, convoy leaves at 9.30, 1000+ VW's so will be amazing be nice if we are together

Don't forget to call into the racing circuit on the way down, we will be racing there on Thursday & Friday (leaves the weekend free for beer drinking then )

Itinerary so far

Hi guys Okay all systems are go -
Just got word from organizer, I asked if other cars ie, Audi's are able to join in Convoy & show and shine the exact reply " Audi's are cool- yes as long as they register".

I also found out about registration, if you print up the first page of the entry form and fill it in ready you can register on Saturday morning or Friday, having it filled in and ready will really help on the day as lots of people will be doing the same thing, I will take a few spare forms with on the cruise down for those that haven't filled one in.

Plan so far :-
FRIDAY 3rd August-meet at Chinderah Bp ( on highway) leave at 6 am prompt, cruise through to Valla beach with stops on route (fun), after registering I think it would be great to go & watch the races (thanks Guy) till 3pm (more fun) go to accommodation wash cars etc or alternatively we can go to races at Raleigh, till 3pm, then cruise through to Valla & register, then wash cars

Saturday Morning meet guys traveling down that morning at 7.30 Anchor Wharf Cafe, 4-6 Bellingen st, Urunga,( just off highway but can be seen from highway) leave at 8.15am sharp, only 15min from Valla so you can sign up and line up,

If anyone can suggest another meeting point other than the Anchor Wharf Cafe, let me know, that was all I could find between Sawtell and Valla on Google maps, this will be amazing weekend, so looking forward to it

A couple of people on the convoy are driving back Saturday night, others Sunday.
I have done a summary of the Itinerary for the whole event ( original is 12 pages and available on Volkswagen Spectacular web site)
So excited, less than two weeks to go, shame you both can't join us in cruise down Friday, but we will hook up Saturday morning
