QLD EOI: GoKart Event

Will there is a event like this, will any body be interested?

The cost will be around $80 per person, that's include 3 x 10mins session (Practice/Qualifying/Race) and whoever win gets a Trophies. At this stage I am talking to the owner for the Brisbane Indoor GoKart Go Karting Brisbane

The track is very very new (less than 2weeks), I just went there this afternoon with few mate. Overall its a pretty good track, good speed on the Karts. And the important point is its very close to the City (Eagle Farm).

So if anyone is interested, please drop your name down. Once I confirm all the pricing and date. I will let everyone knows~

I'm interested in the Grand Prix session, ie 1 practice, x 2 qualifying heats, 1 race. Approx 100laps.

Its pretty good track, not alot of speed but its all about how well you take the line. If people prefer speed, I can look into Kingston Park

I did a similar style of event at Kingston with work last year, was a fantastic afternoon and great format. Love having the lap times available. I think they also do these things on a friday night. And yikes some of those karts would take your breath when cornering.

Happy to give this a crack as it's quite a different track.

How about either last weekend of August or 1st weekend of September? Not sure when our other track days/happy laps are.

Perhaps 3 races. I guess that depends on duration of each session or number of laps. Though I'm usually sufficiently knackered after 30mins of go-karting racing. But I'm built like a flag pole lacking upper body strength...

I would say 3 races would be enough as I am in the same boat as Sean.
