I would get a upper and lower one - thats what I got for the peugeot and the front is 100% more ridged. For the OMP upper and lower brace it was about $200.00 Australian delivered. Whiteline ones are alloy so flex while OMP are steel and way more ridged + Whiteline cost more 2.

I reckon I'll need new, higher temp brake pads for this event. Hadn't driven the car since the track day until last night, and it's awful. Will try get some km's under it to take some of glazing off the rotors and pads before lakeside.

If the glaze is bad, I've found in the past it's much more expedient to remove the pads and lightly sand it off. I think I warped a rotor towards the end of the QR run - had a nasty little shudder under brakes, which has reared it's ugly head a couple of times since. The rotors were getting lipped prior to QR though.

should see how bad was mine after QR. And looks like I need to stick with the factory brake for Lakeside. . . .
I think I need to go little easy for this time.

It's probably because my car is slow compared to everyone elses (thus, not having to brake as much), but my brakes held up fine. I only noticed a little bit of fade on the drive home.

My brakes have gone a little bit squicky since the event at QR but my brakes feel fine and stop the car just as well as they did before. I always use a carpark near where I live which is usually empty to test my brakes and steering before and after a track event, or a long drive.

My rotors are pretty charred though drove the car to work today and it got marginally better feel. The stock set up was fine on the sprint circuit with stock power, the repeated lunges into turn 3 have taken their toll, though I never put the car on its nose so a little surprised. i.e. didn't drive as hard as I do in sprints. Oh well, I was told from the start that these aren't track pads so no reflection on them. Just the wrong tools for the job.

Aaron, yeah I'd thought of doing that, though too time poor this weekend.

                        Received a new job offer.

Looks like version 7 will be the last appearance for the mighty Abarth for a while. Me and her is going to relocate up north for Min 12mths.

Same - I have another set of wheels that need a set of tyres I have lying around fitted, but no time prior to next weekend. Oh well...
