I'd be worried running semi's on a happy laps event. They are hard enough to get heat into at a sprint and are pretty slippery unless warm.

The lotus had them on and said until lap 3 he was having traction issues due to the lack of heat.

I'm sure it would take a few laps to get some heat in them. I'd prefer to use these on 18" rims but the other option is 19" with advan neova ad08?

Just wondering what tyres are you using now? With the AD08, they doesn't come with the correct load rate for our cars, will that be a problem? I been thinking to get some AD08s on my S3 too.

Roy, AD08 in 225 40 18 sadly only comes in 88 load rating... but u can go with 235 40 18 which is rated at 93 i believe (requires 8" wide wheels though). i used AD08 in 225 45 17 last year and loved it on track! had to hold tight on the seat on corners!

i'm currently on Potenza re050a (cant wait for them to go bald), next will be Pilot Super Sport

i found that place sells AD08 at the most competitive prices including shipping

great tyre for dry track routines, yet still useable on normal roads with a bit of common sense in rain.

nah.. I think I'm gonna just stick with the stock 225/40/18 wide.

Since I can't use AD08 on my car, I might get the Super sport for next set of tyres too
