aaauuuummm not to keen on the police marshals.lol or are they just randoms in charge of making sure no one is being ****?.......if they are the police to be honest cant imagine that would be fun at all i'm sure they wil be plucking people of for doin even 5 ks ova the speed limit. whilest this is for a good cause the police as we all would agree will crush this event with their hunger for revenue. but cruzes are limited these days and beggars can not be choosers.lol soooooo ill go if some other watercooled go maybe we can stay with them for a bit then take of on our own to have fun without the police marshals defecting our cars or booking us for taking a corner to fast or for driving to close to one another or for our exhausts being to loud or for have ghost plates or spacers or blue parkers or bald tyres or wear wiper blades being removed or cars being to low, or not having water in our windscreen washers.lol think that covers most of the areas.haha

Thanks Heather for posting that for me

There won't be police marshals at the event, but they are aware of the event and a permit application has been lodged with them. There will be organizers and other volunteers helping to guide parking and routes and to answer any other questions anyone has.

The main purpose of mentioning the police is to deter anybody that likes playing silly buggers on the roads or would at the event, when there's other and better places for happy laps and fun It just says that any dangerous behavior may be reported to Police

Anyways, it will be an awesome event with lots to see, with cars, sponsor stalls, a yummy BBQ etc, and if you head over to the facebook page (Wheels For Awareness | Facebook) then there's a list in one of the status' with the prizes to be won from the raffle that we are holding

Yay awesome day to be had by all

Was a great day out at a place I probably would never have been to. Good mix of cars and a fun drive. Unfortunately HAH44 like it so much it didnt want to leave. I think this picture pretty much sums up the end of the day...

                          Part 1

Thanks Guys for a great Day, we really enjoyed it - perfect weather, lovely scenery, awesome cars and as always great company what more could we ask for

here are some picks of our day and comments:-

We started our cruise at the BP Coomera, had really nice cruise through to Canungra, where we had a stop and waited for James

Then cruised through to Beaudesert and meet up with all the others, very impressed with the amount of cars there.

Loved the amazing cruise from Beaudesert To Boonah, wow, so good

Chris's VR6pitcrew, RIP our Chris *our No.1 Son*

                            Part 2

The event was held in a beautiful park, mountains around us, so cool
                            Our group parked up first

                            Love Coreys new mk4 R32

And yes our girl with attitude decided she didn't want to leave when everyone else did, she would just start then cut out, seemed like immobilizer not working, after trying all that it could be done to sort it out, disconnecting battery etc etc, checking fuses, did the same each time finally rang RACQ for a tow home, about 4pm it started to cool down, one of the guys there said he'd check the fuses (as Tony had done) put the last fuse, fuel fuse back in, and omg she started, so grateful, he just had the magic touch
Lito and James stayed with us the whole time then followed us home, thanks guys.
Today Tony has started her up several times and guess what, she started every time, no problems, definitely a car with a personality and mind all of her own.
Chris's VR6pitcrew, RIP our Chris *our No.1 Son*
