VIC: DOVW Eve cruise and dinner 24/11/2007

Ok people here it is! The inaugural DOVW Eve cruise and dinner! Wax your rides, shine your tyres and bring a hungry stomach! Hopefully this will turn into an annual event if all works out! We will be meeting up late afternoon and going for a bit of a scenic drive along the coast down past St.Kilda, past Sandringham and Beaumaris to Frankston docks. Take a few photos by the ocean at Sunset. Then we will be heading back to the city and dining at Docklands Waterfront. Either at Medicis or Renzos bar. I will be in contact with these two restaurants 2moro in regards to split bills etc. The food is great and very moderately priced. When myself and gf go, it never costs more than $55!

WHEN: Saturday 24th November 2007

WHERE: Meet point is St.Kilda Marina at 5PM!

WHAT TO BRING: Money for food, Camera, your other halves!

I WILL NEED TO BOOK 1 WEEK IN ADVANCE SO THE CUT-OFF DATE IS THE 17TH OF NOVEMBER!! THIS IS SO WE CAN GET A BIG TABLE JUST FOR US!!

I like this cruise. It'll take me longer to drive there than it will to walk!

Just out the front is a slip lane than run's along the beach, I've been meaning to get some shots from there for ages (how lazy am I!!!) and you get some pretty spectacular sunset shots.

I'll see if I can grab some to give a bit of a teaser...

My brother (GOLFWORX) and i were going to come up the night before from Geelong so we didn't have to leave so early in the morning. Nw we have even a better excuse

Put us down for 3.

I can even let place an order now for my brothers meal if you like.

A slab of Jim Beam cans and a bowl of chips with extra salt as a garnish.
(jim beam is used to relieve that heart burn caused by the extra salt)

I've been hanging to take the GTI out to a event since i got it.
